With their unified UX strategy, Twitter’s latest iPad UI brings much disappointment

@danielmwilliams

Longtime users of Twitter for iPad will most likely abhor this new design, or lack thereof. The UI is completely redesigned and absolutely no elements of the previous UI will be found in v5. But, you might be able to downgrade.

Remove the upgraded Twitter app from your iOS device **before** syncing with iTunes (skipping this step will prevent you from downgrading), and copy the Twitter X.ipa (where X is the version you last upgraded prior to v5). You can find the .ipa (iPhone application file extension) file by locating the app in your iTunes library and right clicking to Show in Finder, or Explorer.

iOS Delete App

If after syncing v5 somehow reappears, delete v5 of the app from your library and iOS device. Then drag the previous version of Twitter you copied back to your iTunes library and re-sync your iOS device.
